  • S$7,399.00
Built for Pure Speed, now available at $7,399. For more details about this frameset, please feel free to contact our showroom via WhatsApp at +65 9027 7100.

Evolved from the Racemax Italia racing gravel machine, every detail, from design to construction, has been re-engineered and refined.

Featuring new geometry with increased tire clearance up to 51mm WAM, integrated downtube storage and a rear light housed inside the seatpost. Made in Italy, with Jazz Carbon.

The Racemax² Italia is manufactured at 3T’s Presezzo facility, beginning with dry carbon fibre that is precisely wound using the automated filament winding technique. This process is followed by resin infusion through Resin Transfer Moulding (RTM), resulting in a uniquely engineered composite known as Jazz Carbon.

Since the launch of the first Racemax in 2020, tire trends have shifted towards wider profiles.

The Racemax² Italia now accommodates tires with a real width of up to 51 mm (Width-as-Measured) with 1x setups and up to 48 mm with 2x configurations.

Two new integration features enhance the clean design:

The downtube houses a storage compartment that shields tools and tubes from the elements, with a wide opening and a secure and stable Fidlock closure.

The seatpost now integrates a practical rear light, perfectly aligned with the frame’s design.

Despite a slightly wider frontal area due to tire size, simulations show that the Racemax² Italia is even more aerodynamic, with a measurable gain of 1.5%.

This improvement comes from even cleaner lines and details, such as front caliper bolts shielded by a cover plate.

INSIDE THE RACEMAX 2 ITALIA

100% Made In Italy

An extraordinary journey, allowing 3T to recreate the know-how of carbon manufacturing and bring production back from the Far East to the country where our brand was born and continues to innovate: Italy. Since 2018, 3T has restarted production in their Presezzo factory, where they now manufacture a complete range of high-quality carbon frames and bicycles, including the Racemax² Italia.

Jazz Carbon Inside

The manufacturing process behind Jazz Carbon is known as Filament Winding Bladder-Assisted Resin Transfer Moulding, built on two advanced technologies:

  • Filament Winding: Automated winding of dry carbon fibre to form complex, high-performance shapes.
  • Resin Transfer Moulding (RTM): Direct resin injection into the mould, replacing traditional pre-impregnated sheets for greater precision and consistency.

Together, these techniques define what 3T calls Jazz Carbon—a proprietary approach to carbon frame construction that delivers exceptional strength, accuracy, and repeatability.

A REAL FAST BIKE

Realfast Geometry

Within the 3T lineup, the Racemax² Italia represents the most race-oriented gravel bike, built to perform at its best on fast and smooth surfaces.

Its geometry stays true to the principles of "realfast gravel", an ideal balance between performance and comfort that allows every racer to maintain peak efficiency for longer. Compared to the first-generation Racemax Italia, handling has been refined with a steeper head angle, stability enhanced through a bigger bottom bracket drop and revised fork offset, while responsiveness benefits from shorter 420 mm chainstays.

Realfast Aerodynamics

Aerodynamic performance begins with tire selection. Starting from their preferred tires, the engineering team developed precisely contoured front and rear wheel cutouts—complete with mud clearance—and a closely trailing 75 mm base downtube designed to capture airflow from the front tire while simultaneously shielding water bottles.

Additional refinements include a super-narrow headtube with an integrated aerodynamic nose, a multi-shape fork featuring shielded caliper bolts, and aero-optimized profiles extending from the seatstay to the seatpost. Every element was designed around real-world conditions: actual riding speeds, wind angles, tire widths, bottle placement, and even muddy terrain.

Engineered and Optimized Around Real Tire Measures

At 3T, tire choice has always been the starting point for frame design. To ensure precision, the team developed its own measurement standards—WAM (Width-as-Measured) and RAM (Radius-as-Measured)—to reflect how tires truly fit and perform, not just what’s printed on the label. This commitment to real-world data is central to the brand’s Realfast aerodynamic philosophy.

The Racemax² Italia accommodates tires up to 51 mm WAM (or 48 mm for 2x setups) and 363 mm RAM. Its geometry and aerodynamic shaping have been meticulously engineered to perform at their best with tires ranging from 41 to 51 mm WAM.

Narrow Headtube

The Racemax² Italia features an aerodynamically sculpted front end with a notably slim headtube profile. A pronounced nose element further reduces frontal surface area, enhancing aerodynamic efficiency at speed.

Complementing this is a newly developed fork design, incorporating aero-shaped legs and a compact upper arch. These refinements contribute to greater steering precision and improved handling across varied terrain.

CeramicSpeed SLT Headset

Inside a slim head tube, similar in size to that of a road bike and ideal for optimal aerodynamic performance, 3T has integrated oversized CeramicSpeed SLT bearings (44x33 top and 52x42 bottom) to ensure maximum stiffness and durability.

Downtube Shape and Storage

The upper section (neck) measures 55 mm and features a wheel cut-out for perfect tire alignment, while the lower section is 75 mm wide, designed to streamline airflow not only around the bottles but also around the tools stored in the integrated storage compartment.

The Fidlock mini-hook locking mechanism ensures super-easy opening and secure closure with just a click, while the Missgrape-developed neoprene bag guarantees silent, stable load carrying. It’s also easy to remove thanks to the integrated handle.

3T More - Integrale Technology

The proprietary D-shaped steering tube routes all cables internally while maintaining a minimal headset design. Paired with the More stem, it offers maximum aerodynamic efficiency, a clean look, and a narrow frontal area, making assembly and adjustment easy.

The two-piece design allows fine-tuning of handlebar angle or swapping stem lengths (±1 cm) without disconnecting or bleeding brake hoses.

Compatible only with electronic groupsets.

Chainring 1x Up To 52T

Up to 52T using 3T Torno Wide (1X configuration), any GRX Di2 2X and Campagnolo 2x13 up to 52/36.

Integrated Tail Light System

Racemax² Italia seatpost integrates a rear light system with 5 modes and a memory function, offering up to 25 lumens and up to 15 hours of runtime in strobe mode.

The light can be easily removed and reinstalled for charging via the built-in USB-A plug.

A cover plate is included with every frame kit and complete bike, to be used when a rear bikepacking bag is installed.

Aerodynamic Fork Cover

The front caliper mounting bolts are seamlessly integrated into the fork thanks to a painted cover.

UDH Compatible

Designed only for electronic groupsets.
