The Ridley Grifn is built for riders seeking a single, versatile machine that can handle it all—from high-speed road rides to light gravel commutes. Whether carving through smooth asphalt or navigating crisp country paths, the Grifn defines the all-road category with precision and purpose.
Engineered to blend the speed of a road bike with the comfort of a gravel bike, the Grifn offers a maximum tire clearance of 38mm (or up to 40mm with a 1x drivetrain). Riders can enjoy confident traction on rural terrain, while a 32mm setup keeps the bike fast and assertive in the peloton. Practicality is also baked into the design, with compatibility for fenders and dynamo systems—ensuring year-round usability, even in wet or low-light conditions.
The name “Grifn” draws inspiration from the mythical griffin, a creature that symbolizes mastery over both sky and earth. True to its namesake, the Grifn reigns over both asphalt and gravel. Its geometry is carefully tuned to match the rider’s intent and terrain, offering enough comfort for long-distance endurance rides while remaining aggressive enough for competitive Gran Fondos.
In essence, the Ridley Grifn challenges the N+1 rule of bike ownership. It’s not just another bike—it’s the one bike that does it all.
TWO WORLDS, ONE BIKE

With the Grifn family, you can hit the road as well as the off-road. You simply change wheelsets and do a gran fondo gravel on Saturday and hit the road the day after with the regular cycling club. With this family, you no longer need any other bikes.
ALL-ROAD GEOMETRY

The geometry of the Ridley Grifn is the superb overlap of a stiff racing- and a tolerant off-road frame! The goal is a reactive and nimble riding feel while keeping a stable handling on off-road terrain. The head tube angle of the Grifn is slightly flatter than the head tube angle of a road bike. Compared to a gravel bike, the head tube angle is sharper. This results in a completely new geometry, specifically designed for the all-road segment. The riders of Classified Ridley were also consulted and gave positive feedback on this all-roader.
11 MOUNTING POINTS FOR PERSONALIZED SETUP

The Grifn has 11 mounting points for a 100% personalised setup. With three mounting points on and under the down tube and three mounting points on the seat tube, you can fully determine the position of your bottle cages and frame bag. You also have two mounting points on the top tube for an extra bag or toolkit. You can cleverly hide these under a handy cover.
GRIFN TIRE CLEARANCE: 40MM (1X) / 38MM (2X)

The maximum tire clearance of the Grifn is 40 millimetres in a 1x setup and 38 millimetres with a 2x setup. This is a deliberate choice for a width sufficient to handle the vast majority of dirt roads. You can also opt for extra-wide tyres on the road, which provides a surplus of comfort and makes the Grifn ideal for long days in the saddle.
DESIGN & INNOVATION AWARD 2023
The jury agrees: the Grifn can do it all. "If there was one word that Ridley had in mind when developing the Grifn allroad bike, it was versatility. Whether its gravel roads or alpine passes, with the right tires, the bike can do it all. Added to that is the Grifn’s low-key, classic looks", is what the jury concludes. We’re very proud to be awarded the Design & Innovation Award, the Oscars of the bike and outdoor industries.
UNIVERSAL DERAILLEUR HANGER (UDH)

The universal derailleur hanger (UDH) is the new standard in the cycling world. Not only is this derailleur hanger compatible with all modern shifting groups, it also protects against derailleur breakage and chain drops. In mountain biking, UDH has long been very common, and Ridley is bringing the technology to other segments as well.
