The Ridley Dean Fast Disc Time Trial Frameset represents the pinnacle of aerodynamic engineering. Developed with the ambitious goal of redefining aero TT standards, Ridley employed advanced Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulations to optimize airflow at speeds around 55 km/h. These designs were rigorously tested and validated in the wind tunnel at Bike Valley, ensuring real-world performance.
Pushing the boundaries of UCI regulations, the Dean Fast incorporates features like the 8:1 tube dimension rule and compensation triangles. The F-Surface Plus technology on the frame and fork generates controlled turbulence, allowing airflow to closely follow the tube shapes for reduced drag.
Designed exclusively for electronic groupsets, the frameset includes a removable front derailleur hanger with a sleek cover for 1x setups, a UDH hanger, and generous tire clearance up to 32mm. The Dean Fast made its competitive debut at the U23 World Championship Time Trial in 2022, where Alec Segaert claimed silver aboard the final prototype — a testament to its elite-level performance.

Triathlete Kenneth Vandendriessche repeatedly proves the value of the Dean Fast at the highest level. In 2024, he even won the Ironman Lanzarote on this speed machine. Triathletes Jelle Geens and Louis Naeyaert also successfully use this Dean Fast, as do all riders of Uno-X Mobility.

Our carbon is manufactured by world market leader: Toray. The Japanese manufacturer is leader in every aspect of carbon development and supplier to absolute top world brands in many industries.
For the Elite Series, we use every type of available carbon: 60T, 50T, 30T and 24T.
The higher the 'Ton', the higher the tensile strength of the carbon fibers and the more intensive the development and processing. With 60T, you may need fewer layers to achieve the desired stiffness and lowest weight, but a full 60T frame would be too harsh. That’s why a smart mix of carbon types is essential.
Each bike's unique carbon mix is tailored to its purpose — such as climbing or endurance — and varies across the frame to balance stiffness, weight, and comfort.

The universal derailleur hanger (UDH) is the new standard in the cycling world. It is compatible with all modern shifting groups and offers protection against derailleur breakage and chain drops. While long adopted in mountain biking, Ridley brings UDH to road and triathlon bikes too.
How can you ride faster without pedaling harder? Drawing from the aviation industry, our engineers applied NACA flight profiles to bike frames. By shortening the tail of these profiles (F-Tubing), drag is reduced.
We also introduced a groove — the F-Surface Plus — to channel airflow more efficiently along the tube. These aerodynamic optimisations help you slice through the wind.
