Fizik Launches First Helmet Collection for Road, Gravel, MTB & TT

Fizik has officially expanded into the world of cycling helmets, and they’ve made a bold entrance—debuting four distinct models at once. Designed to meet the demands of every cycling discipline—from road to gravel, mountain biking to time trial—the Italian brand’s first helmet collection blends performance, safety, and unmistakable style.

Well known for their cycling shoes, saddles, bar tape, and apparel (including their advanced One-to-One custom 3D-printed saddles), Fizik’s move into helmets is a natural evolution. According to Senior Product Manager Alex Locatelli, the aim was clear: “We don’t just focus on function and comfort—we’re combining performance with design. Helmets were the next step in offering riders a complete solution.”

Four Helmets, One Design Language

Fizik’s new lineup includes:

Kudo and Kudo Aero – for road, gravel, and XC riders

Kassis – built for trail and off-road adventures

Kunée – an aero-focused helmet crafted for time trialists and triathletes

All helmets meet CE EN 1078:2012 or CPSC 1203 safety standards and, except for the TT-focused Kunée, feature the advanced MIPS Air Node system to reduce rotational forces during impact. Impressively, every model has earned a 5-star rating from the renowned Virginia Tech Helmet Lab.

While tailored for different riding disciplines, the four models share a cohesive design language. A standout feature is a diagonal cut line, not just for aesthetics but also for function—it channels airflow efficiently in and out of the helmet using the Venturi effect, boosting cooling and overall ventilation.

Thoughtful Touches: Integrated Lighting

Fizik has also added modern practicality to its helmet lineup with a sleek, integrated rear light. Included with all models except the Kunée, the USB-C rechargeable light clicks seamlessly into the back of the helmet. With solid and flashing modes and up to 3 hours of runtime in flash mode, it’s a welcome blend of visibility and elegance. Riders who prefer a minimalist look can swap the light for a passive reflector insert instead.
