Powerstrap Aeroweave X is the lightest and most breathable off-road racing shoe in our entire range—and the perfect solution for demanding XC tracks or fast gravel races. Leveraging technology originally developed for the pro road peloton, our Aeroweave woven fabric reduces weight while drastically increasing breathability. Additionally, on wet rides in rainy weather, Aeroweave doesn't absorb water, keeping your feet light to spin fast and dry quickly—ideal for the unpredictable conditions frequently encountered when racing or riding off roads. For reliable support, the Powerstrap acts as an easily adjustable, secure, and crash-proof closure system to provide superior foot containment as well as balanced support throughout the entire pedal stroke.
A NATURAL, NEW SHAPE
The pursuit of reducing weight and increasing ventilation while maintaining support and protection led our designers and engineers to develop an entirely new material: Aeroweave. Now in its second generation, Aeroweave woven fabric interlaces nylon fibers with filaments of thermoplastic polymers for an even lighter shoe that doesn’t lose its original tenacity, providing the strength and support required in fast-paced off-road competition.
BUILT LIGHT, FEELS LIGHT
While most traditional Velcro closures simply pull together both sides of the shoe’s upper, with Powerstrap, a ribbon wraps around the foot, providing secure containment using just two straps. The instep and the midfoot are separately adjustable for a customized fit and compression. And now, these straps have been streamlined to make them even lighter and stronger. With Powerstrap, you’ll feel the performance, not the pinch.

With Powerstrap Aeroweave X, the lightweight, strong upper construction is complemented with a race-ready carbon outsole. With a high stiffness-to-weight ratio, the carbon plate efficiently transfers power generated from the shoe directly to the pedals. Furthering both versatility and performance, the X1 outsole is equipped with generous studs and a rubber coating that covers the entire surface, including the midfoot, delivering improved traction for any off-the-bike moments.

- To clean your Fi'zi:k shoes, wipe clean with a damp cloth.
- Do not use solvents, paint thinner or harsh chemicals.
- After riding in wet conditions, stuff the shoes with newspaper to absorb moisture.
- Store in shoe bag out of direct sunlight. Cool and dry storage is best to prolong the life of your shoes.
- Regularly clean the buckle mechanism of debris and lubricate it with silicone type lubricant.
- Regularly tighten all cleat fasteners to torque specifications specified by your pedal or cleat manufacturer.
- Do not place shoes near heaters, ovens or fires to dry. Excessive heat may damage the materials and adhesives.
