Over the past few years, bike geometry and body position have changed a lot. For this reason, the contact points between riders and their bikes have had to evolve accordingly. Ferox 2 responds to this shift with an updated anatomical shape featuring a straighter axis and reduced drop—designed to offer a more natural pedaling feeling. An expanded toe box gives your foot the space it needs to fully extend, ensuring an ergonomic fit and enhanced comfort during high-intensity efforts, whether you're pushing through demanding XC laps or charging hard in fast-paced gravel races.
SECURE FIT, CONFIDENT POWER
The dual closure system ensures a secure, customized fit, while a foot-wrapping bootie made from perforated Airprene material delivers enhanced comfort and pressure-free support. At the instep, the Powerstrap offers excellent foot containment during high-cadence efforts—especially common in off-road racing—while also acting as a crash-proof system that keeps you moving toward the finish line. At the forefoot, a premium Li2 BOA® Fit System allows riders to fine-tune the fit to their exact foot shape, delivering lasting support and confident control.

Ferox 2’s translucent, tear-resistant PU-laminated upper features distinct functional zones, combining a lightweight mesh for breathability and reduced weight with additional PU layers in high-wear areas for added protection. The innovative construction repels water, preventing the shoe from becoming heavier in wet or muddy conditions. Paired with a foot-wrapping bootie, it delivers a performance fit with enhanced comfort and ventilation—ideal for high-intensity off-road riding.

Ferox 2 features a redesigned full-carbon outsole with reduced drop, engineered to prioritize foot stability and support for more efficient power transfer. With an excellent stiffness-to-weight ratio, the carbon plate is wider and lower, maximizing contact with the pedal and optimizing energy transfer from rider to bike. The outsole includes studs and a full-surface rubber coating—including the midfoot area—to enhance grip and traction during off-the-bike moments.

- To clean your Fi'zi:k shoes, wipe clean with a damp cloth.
- Do not use solvents, paint thinner or harsh chemicals.
- After riding in wet conditions, stuff the shoes with newspaper to absorb moisture.
- Store in shoe bag out of direct sunlight. Cool and dry storage is best to prolong the life of your shoes.
- Regularly clean the buckle mechanism of debris and lubricate it with silicone type lubricant.
- Regularly tighten all cleat fasteners to torque specifications specified by your pedal or cleat manufacturer.
- Do not place shoes near heaters, ovens or fires to dry. Excessive heat may damage the materials and adhesives.
