 RIDLEY is well known as the brand leader in the world of cyclo-cross, Belgium’s national sport. A leadership achieved due to continuous research in material innovation, technology and close collaboration with the world's best athletes. In fact, model development takes place directly on the track, in the most important competitions of this sector. It is entirely due to their collaboration with World Champions, Bart Wellens, Erwin Vervecken and Mario De Clercq, that the X-Night was born: the first cyclo-cross frame made entirely from carbon fiber, which won the 2004 World Champion.

Four of the last five world champion winners have ridden RIDLEY bicycles. In 2006 in Zeddam, the Netherlands, RIDLEY scored a one-two finish with Erwin Vervecken and Bart Wellens, and also the U23 championship with Zdenek Stybar.
