After dedicating a professional career to sport, he put his family first, but the life of a great champion needs to carry on into the future and this is why Maurizio now transfers all his advice and experience to numerous up-and-coming young cyclists through his extraordinary example.

Ever since he started putting his name on the first frames, he realized that every single detail of the bicycle would have to reflect his personality and professionalism. Over the past years, he has registered several patents because he has always believed in R&D, and every new idea that comes to life is a new challenge.
 

The TF1 frame is constructed using 3k high module HMF30 carbon fibre, this provides great performances in all conditions. The building technique used is the “bonded technique” which allows them to provide 7 frame sizes plus their custom-made options. The TF1 frame is completely designed and manufactured in Italy. With a clean and linear design including all the features of a frame which is unique in its build concept and which exploits to the highest degree the technique of “isostatic compaction” of the fibres.
 
The frame being perfect in its design, the TF1 excels both for those who are competitive racers and for those who love cycling very frequently; it performs to the highest levels in race conditions and also in non-competitive courses. The frame can also be setup for Shimano Di2 electronic gear (on request).

The TF2 provides the maximum of design expression and of technical contents: this frame is on the forefront as far as its structure is concerned, with its important technical solutions. The fibre used is the 3K, in a pre-peg 4x4 twill with a high module that provides the frame with a high level of stiffness, however, at the same time the special design of the seat stay provides a high capacity for absorbing the shocks. Following is a list of other key technical features for the TF2: the fork, designed with angles opposite to current standards, differential head set, integrated cables system, integrated seat clamp becoming part of the shape of the frame, drop seat post with differential thickness, monolithic bottom bracket shell, carbon dropouts, 7 sizes available, setup for electronic group Di2 (on request). An important technical accompanied by a frame shape very aggressive and captivating. This frame offers performance on the verge of a competitive level, but at the same time easy to ride on every kind of course and in all weather condition.

The passing of the cables inside the frame is checked by specially provided guide placed inside the BB shell. The design if the channel and the material used improves the sliding of the cables while shifting.

With the new manufacturing design by Fondriest, the bonding zones have been moved to positions where the stress is less. The result has made the frame safer and more reliable by maintaining the stiffness and resilience of the frame. The bonding zone of the seat-tube to the BB shell has been placed next to the derailleur mount. This has resulted in an increase in stiffness of the mount while shifting.

Monocoque frame in 12k large weave carbon fibre, pre-impregnated with epoxy resins. The special ribbing and the waisted cross-sections are the result of a painstaking design work using cad 3D models and software. A young and simple frame design, completes a frame which is very fast on the road, perfect for accurate cornering, and high performance while accelerating. It is the perfect compromise between weight and performance.
